Bib and Burp Cloth Sets

Hats

Just added a hats album on Facebook. Hats can be personalized with baby's name and a mini design. I loved using these hats when my kids were little. I always received so many compliments on them. I am working on loading albums of products on my Facebook page. So far I have uploaded ideas for birthday items. You can find the links on the left side of my blog. On the right side you will find a new "search my blog" feature. Hopefully all of these additions will enhance your "O'Baby Gear" shopping experience.

New Fabric

I've had some requests for some more sports fabric and I found these today! All of these would be great for sippy and straw cup inserts. Last week I picked up the fabric below which just screams Halloween. I don't want to even think that far in advance because that will mean the summer is over and it's back to school! Oh, where does the time go??

New Gift Set

This is a gift set that was just shipped today. For this set I used one of the new onesies I ordered. They are made from the same super soft pima cotton as the bibs. Right now I have them only in size 3-6 months. I plan on phasing out my old onesies and replenishing my stock with these. I just think they look and feel nicer and seem more "finished" than the American Apparel ones I typically use.

New Orders

Here are a couple of orders that are getting shipped out in the morning. I just restocked my favorite chenille blankets. They've changed them a bit and made them even better. They are a little bit bigger! They now measure 31 x 31. They are the cuddliest blankets- I just love them! I was really happy how all of the orders came out. I have such creative, designers, I mean customers! They have such great ideas. Each of these orders were created by my customers. Don't you just love the hot pink thread on the green damask set. The monogram was a nice touch. It inspired me when I was making a gift this weekend.

I had a request for the boy version of the tooth fairy pillow yesterday. I couldn't wait to make it. I hope you like what I came up with!

Tooth Fairy Pillows and Shirts

When my daughter Ryan had her first wiggly tooth, I knew I had to make something special for her. So a couple of months ago I cut out the fabric to make her a personalized tooth fairy pillow. Well, needless to say, I didn't get around to it until it got really wiggly and it had to get done right away! I guess I just work best under pressure. Her first tooth came out (with my assistance) on June 19th...the same day as her dad's birthday. Boy did she steal his birthday thunder!! She was so excited to place her little tooth in the pocket of the pillow. Of course I couldn't stop at just a special pillow. I had to make her a shirt to wear to school on Monday. Ryan losing her first tooth was a really sad milestone for me. I guess because it just shows how big she's getting. Good thing it wasn't one of her top front teeth- I think I really would have lost it!Ryan lost her second tooth tonight. To commemorate this special occasion, I decided to post pictures of these items. Stay tuned for the boy versions which will be equally cute! These pillows can be made with or without the ribbon. The ribbon handle can be used to hang the pillow from the door so the Tooth Fairy doesn't have to worry about waking up her clients!

Gift Set for Baby and Big Sister

Here is a set which was done for a new baby brother. The bib and burp cloth is made of soft minky fabric. The big sister shirt can be customized by choosing the hair color.

OK, I've finally did it...I created a Facebook account for O'Baby Gear...I think! Several people have advised me to create a fan page for my business. I played around with it a little tonight. I know I have to figure a lot more out, but it's a start.

Don't Forget the Big Brother...

Here's an order that I just shipped out today. For the new addition, it included a 3 piece diaper roadie set (bib, burp cloth and velcro pouch), a little brother onesie and a sippy cup. The big brother was not left out. He will be receiving a coordinating big brother t-shirt and a matching straw cup.

Some Recent Orders

Wow! This is may be a first for me...2 posts in two days! I just wanted to post pictures of a couple of my recent orders. The first picture shows shirts for Max and Maddie who will be traveling to Disney. Aren't they lucky! The second picture is a bib and burp cloth set using the Curlz font and the lacey, closed butterfly mini design. The third picture is a bib, burp cloth and hat set. The font for this order was one of my new (and favorite) fonts called Girly. The hat is accented with a mini shamrock.

Gift Ideas

In the upcoming months, I will be revamping my blog. It will be a showcase displaying many of my designs, more fonts and a better display of my available fabrics for appliques and covered wipes cases. I will also be posting pictures of orders and gift sets. In the meantime, to acquaint new customers with some of my products, I am making this post which includes an array of items I have made. It's just a sampling, keeping in mind that you, the customer, are the designer behind each O'Baby Gear creation.
